Stinging Nettle Pesto

How to make a pesto using stinging nettles!

Spicy, yummy, healthy goodness - Stinging Nettle Pesto is one of my favorite treats to make and share in the Spring!


Materials

  • Food processor or blender

  • Boiled nettles

  • 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • Container

  • Optional: nuts (walnut, pine nuts, and almonds are ones I've personally tried before), garlic, lemon juice


How To

  • Put boiled nettles into food processor/blender

  • Add extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper, and optional garlic, nuts, and lemon juice to taste

  • Combine ingredients in the processor/blender until completely mixed.

  • Once mixed, put nettle pesto into container to enjoy now or later!
